V-slicers tend to be better at cutting both softer items like tomatoes, onions, or harder items like potatoes, carrots etc than mandolins with straight blades.

The IDEAL Slicer is wide-bodied which will allow you to better handle large vegetables like eggplants, cabbage, large potatoes etc.

It also comes with rubberized legs to keep it stable on your kitchen top or chopping board. Legs fold up for easy storage. Hand washing is recommended. The plastic used in this product is BPA free. The metal used is LFGB (European food safety standard) compliant and food-safe.
